Daily Scrum โ€” 15 Minutes That Align the Team

๐ŸŽฌ Video Lesson ยท 8 min

The Daily Scrum is a 15-minute planning event for Developers โ€” not a status meeting.

Purpose: Inspect progress toward the Sprint Goal and adapt the Sprint Backlog.

Attendees: Developers. The Scrum Master and Product Owner may attend but only as participants.

The Three Questions (OPTIONAL โ€” not required by Scrum 2020):

  1. What did I do yesterday toward the Sprint Goal?
  2. What will I do today toward the Sprint Goal?
  3. Do I see any impediments?

Anti-Patterns: Problem-solving during the standup. The Scrum Master facilitating every day. Individual status reports (focus on the Sprint Goal).
