Program Structure
The training is conducted over four intensive, in-person sessions, each focused on a critical phase of the DMAIC methodology. Between sessions, participants apply their learning to a real-world project under the guidance of a Master Black Belt mentor.
- Pre-work & Foundation: Complete preparatory materials and define your project charter.
- Session 1 – Define & Measure: Master project scoping, VOC, and data collection plans.
- Session 2 – Analyze: Dive deep into statistical tools to identify root causes.
- Session 3 – Improve: Design, pilot, and select optimal solutions.
- Session 4 – Control & Certification: Establish control systems and present your completed project for review.

This program is ideal for process engineers, quality managers, and operational leaders tasked with improving efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing customer satisfaction. Participants should have a foundational understanding of basic process improvement concepts, which can be gained through our Green Belt training or equivalent experience.
